Have you ever had one of those weekends where you just wish it would never end? Yeah, let's be serious...that is every weekend. I'll admit I slacked a little on bringing my camera along for most of the weekend (roller blading while taking pictures doesn't really mix), but I was able to document some of it.

We spent Saturday morning at one of my favorite little places--the Wellington Square Bookstore. Not only does it have a wonderful selection of books, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, and unique gifts, but it also has the sweetest children's reading nook. I could spend hours there just enjoying a good book!

We ended our weekend making homemade pizza, relaxing, and catching up with friends. My favorite part had to be watching these two making jokes and laughing when I tried to take their photo.

P.S. When your friend has the most gorgeous boho chic home, you take a photo of it...duh.

Some (most) weekends seem to fly by. Before I know it, it is Sunday evening and we are sitting down for the first time since Friday. This weekend was definitely one of those. #ProjectWeekend | Jan 7-8

I have a confession to make...I am terrible at taking photos of my family, friends, and my personal life in general. In years past I vowed to take and post more photos of my personal life and I would ultimately fail after about a month. Life takes over, client work takes precedence, and I spend time trying to "live in the moment" rather than capturing it.

So I set out to find a happy medium between living it and capturing it. Drumroll please...#ProjectWeekend. Project Weekend is a photographic journal of, you guessed it, every weekend of the year. I have a feeling some weekends will be more interesting than others. There is bound to be a lot of weekend trips to Target, dance competitions, and brunchin'. So here goes nothing...hope you enjoy!
